1. Who we are
Mia is an email automation product that connects to your Google Workspace to help you organize, label, reply to, and act on email using rules you configure. When we refer to “the Service,” we mean the Mia web application, APIs, and related software.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or old enough to consent to the processing of your personal data where you live, to use the Service.
3. Google Workspace connections
Mia connects to Google services (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets, Chat, Tasks) using OAuth. You decide which products to connect and can disconnect them at any time from the Integrations page or from your Google account settings. Mia only requests the scopes required to run the rules you configure.
Your use of Google services through Mia is also subject to Google’s own terms. Mia’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or the rights of others;
- Send spam, phishing, or other unsolicited messages;
- Upload or transmit malware, or otherwise interfere with the Service;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service without permission.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the rules, labels, and content you create in Mia. You grant Mia a limited license to host, process, and transmit that content solely so we can operate the Service for you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to the content you send through Mia.
6. AI features
Mia uses Google’s Gemini models to generate rule suggestions, classify emails, and draft replies. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete — you should review rules and replies before enabling or sending them. Mia is not liable for the outcome of automated actions you configure.
7. Subscriptions and fees
Mia may offer free and paid tiers. Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable prior notice.
8. Service availability
We work hard to keep Mia reliable but provide the Service on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.
9. Termination
You may stop using Mia at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or if required by law. On termination, we will delete or anonymize your account data within a reasonable timeframe, subject to legal retention requirements.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mia disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event will Mia be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising out of your use of the Service.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If the changes are material, we will notify you by email or in-app notice before they take effect. Continuing to use Mia after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
